Simple Test To See If You Can Persuade Yourself

Hey, there's a difference between failures of persistence - not trying hard enough, or sticking to something long enough...

AND

Failures of judgment - simply doing the wrong thing.

The old definition of success and the means of achieving it are not failing because we haven't tried hard enough or clung onto them long enough.

They are failing because they no longer work.

But here's the thing...it's easier to keep doing what the Jones' are doing...there's comfort in numbers because the masses won't blame you if you're doing what they're doing.

Most people would rather use status quo as their defense, than persuade themselves that they're headed in the wrong direction.

Even when there are negative consequences for their own children.

Which begs the question; Can you persuade yourself?
