Heroic Unschooling Part 1

First off, Happy Birthday to my Dad.  He turns 80 today and is on a week long bike trip in Montana with his 4 children, their spouses, and 8 grandchildren.  Perhaps you can put that on your 80th birthday bucket list?

If you’ve been following my last few posts, then you know that the four most important life skills our children must begin learning immediately, if not sooner.

And you know that we call the process of learning these four skills, Heroic Unschooling.

Today I’m going to introduce the first of three steps that we’ve created to make Heroically Unschooling your children easy, fun, and successful.

Step one is what we call the Parent Silver Belt Certification or “Cert.”

We have learned from experience that the best way for a family to begin heroically unschooling is for Mom and or Dad to learn the Vaikido Framework and do a ‘dry run’ of the process before their children.

This way, Mom’s and Dad’s are already familiar with the process and the terminology, and they’ve begun the process leading by example.  Children learn what they live.  If Mom and Dad don’t do it, chances are low that the children are going to do it.

This also build enthusiasm and commitment from the parents because once they earn their silver belt, they completely understand what heroic unschooling is all about.

To do this we hold live 2 day events for parents (teens are welcome as well) to learn the 4 part Vaikido framework front to back.  We also take a deep dive into the dynamics of heroic unschooling from 6-18 years old and beyond.  After this session you will have a blueprint strategy for unifying your family, simplifying your life, and preparing your children for adult success.
