Have you SEEN this judge’s speech to teens?

Hello fellow Vaikido's,

There were two incidents yesterday that sparked an interesting dinner conversation (a.k.a. spontaneous Vaikido seminar - too bad we didn't film it) about how our actions mirror our priorities and our opinion of ourselves...how they become our reputations, and how our reputations limit our opportunities.

Ironically, I had already written this post, so I had to come back after dinner and make a couple of tweaks.

While reading this post - ask yourself this question;

"How am I going to get my children to understand that NOW is the time to begin building their futures?"

So with that set up...Have you seen this viral video of a Georgia judge giving an EPIC, from the heart, life talk to some troubled teens?

Judge Verda Colvin = Heroic contribution

Judge Verda Colvin = Heroic contribution

Judge Verda Colvin gets the attention of 17 teens with a body bag, prison rape, and genuine love.

It's well worth the few minutes...it should fill you with hope, and a sense of urgency.

It’s tempting to think that your law abiding 'good kids' don’t need a similar speech, but they DO.

Every single time a human being (any human being) doesn’t find their unique value and develop a way to deliver and prosper from it is another lost gift for them and for us.

Your child is probably not headed toward a court room, but as I often say...knowing what to avoid is NOT THE SAME THING as knowing what to head towards.

And as the famous Chris Rock likes to point out...."You're not supposed to go to jail!!!"  Growing up to be a 'good kid or adult' is just the price of admission - It's the MINIMUM.

To make sure that your kids have higher aspirations than just being 'good', consider enrolling in the Heroic Family Unschooling Experience.

Your child has a unique gift, they just need some help to find it, package it, and prosper from it.

1 more time for good measure...
